I found some ideas on a CD of Katies, which I thought might be perfect for you guys!

I Thank You - Sam & Dave
Memphis Soul Stew - King Curtis (so Richard can dance wink.gif
Best Of My Love - The Emotions (one for Maria?)
Stuck In The Middle With You - Stealers Wheel (John would be prefect for this one!)
Dancing In The Streets - Martha Reeves and The Vandellas (another for Maria)

and just for fun and because Richard would be brilliant at it

War - Edwin Starr biggrin.gif

Do any of these look good?

Can't wait for the Bar Lambs gig at the end of the month, always worth it! Good venue too.

Hey Si! Some good suggestions here...

Memphis Soul Stew would be a corker...'pinch of bass', 'tablespoon of geee-taaar' etc.

Best Of My Love/Dancing in the Streets both get my vote! What say ye, Maria?

Stuck in the Middle would be ideal for John, I agree. A good party number too, eh Darren! wink.gif

As for War...as much as I like the song and would love to give it a go, it is throat-destroyingly gruff! If we did it, it would have to go oin last as after doing it I may well require some Strepsils/Tixylix. biggrin.gif

Anyway dude, spread the word about the Lambs gig! See ya next Friday.

Yep, definitely looking forward to seeing y'all next Friday!

I guess you guys have to consider things that I don't have to consider in terms of 'how' to sing a song and not just that its a good song.

Nice Avatar biggrin.gif I'll have to see if I can find me one of those tongue.gif
